‘Business Incubation’ Members Gain Insight On ICentre
By Mohammad Abdullah

Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty-one people under the Business Incubation Programme, Entrepreneur Development Centre, Ministry of-Industry and Primary Resources, visited the iCentre in Anggrek Desa yesterday.

The visit to the nation's first innovation centre was led by Abdul Latif Jamudin, the Assistant Project Officer from the Entrepreneur Development Centre.

According to him, the group now has a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the iCentre in helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs), particularly those related to the IT industry, develop and grow in Brunei Darussalam.

He said that the group was made up of people whose businesses are related to various industries such as agriculture, fisheries, food products and services.

'Incubatees' of the iCentre also briefed the visitors on how the centre has helped them.

The Business Incubator Programme has been running for six years.

Those interested in signing up for the programme can contact the Entrepreneur Development Centre by calling 4240132, 4240133 or 4240596 (fax). -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
