Kristal-Astro Subscribers Swap Old For New Cards

Bandar Seri Begawan - Kristal-Astro Sdn Bhd yesterday received a good response from its subscribers who came in big numbers to swap their old for new Kristal Astro Smart Cards.

"From the beginning of the announcement, members of public have flocked to our counters to change to the new Kristal-Astro Smart Card. And this is a good response because all subscribers are being given one month's time until May 15, 2008.

"The old cards have limited security characteristics. And now it is time to change to a new smart card, which possesses better security features and to prepare for future expansion of Kristal-Astro programmes.

"This is the second time the smart card has been changed. The first time was the old orange card.

"The new smart card has been tested and is compatible with all Kristal-Astro decoders. However, should any probleins arise, subscribers should contact Kristal-Astro customer service at 151 for assistance," a spokesperson said

Hj Awang Zamri, a subscriber of KristalAstro said, "I hope that after swapping for the new Kristal-Astro Smart Card, Kristal Astro will upgrade the service quality, Mtro in-demand programmes, and many more to satisfy the customers".

All Kristal-Astro subscribers can swap their cards for the new Kristal-Astro Smart Card at all Kristal-Astro branches or DST Group counters. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
