Counselling Talk At SR Lambak Kanan

Bandar Seri Begawan - The School Counselling Services (PBS) held a talk yesterday afternoon at the conference room of Lambak Kanan Primary School.

The talk began with the recital of al-Fatihah led by Cikgu Hj Azmi bin Hj Ridzuan.

The chairperson of the School Counselling Services is Cikgu Dk Salamah bte Pg Ahmad who invited Pg Hj Mohd Yassin bin Pg Hj Mahmud, Head of Counselling from the Counselling Career and Guidance Section, Schools Department, Ministry of Education, to give a briefing about the PBS to all the teachers and staff.

The event was aimed at guiding the students and parents towards a more positive attitude. It was stressed that all teachers need to have the counselling skills to help the students in guiding them academically, physically and mentally.

The programmes and activities were presented on a Power Point to show to the teachers and staffs who are expected to carry them out this year.

After the presentation, there was a Q&A session. The guest speaker was then awarded a souvenir and certificate by the school's deputy principal, Cikgu Masjidi bin Hj Mohd Yussof. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
