Jungle Trekking At Wasai Buang Bulan

Bangar - Temburong District Scout Association recently organised a jungle trekking activity at Wasai Buang Bulan, Kampong Buang Bulan Temburong.

About 100 scout members from the district participated in the event, led by Skipper Hj Abdul Rahman bin Merusin, Temburong District Scout Association Commissioner.

Participants included scout leaders and scout members from Sultan Hassan Bangar Primary School, Labu Estate Primary School, Puni Primary School, and Amo Primary School, as well as youth members from Temburong District Youth and Sports and the Red Crescent.

Among the objectives of the activity were to expose the scout members on camping and to instil love and responsibility towards our forests.

The trekking activity, led by Skipper Hj Yusra, began as early as 6.30am, in which participants listened to a briefing about safety precautions for the journey.
