School Appoints New Student Council Members

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sayyidina Ali Secondary School in Kuala Belait yesterday held a function to install new members of the Student Council and Prefect Board 2008-2009.

Attending the event as the guest of honour was Sanai bin Murang, Kuala Belait Police Superintendent, who officiated and presented letters of appointment to the students.

Also in attendance were senior officers from the Ministry of Education's Student Affairs Department.

Twenty-six Pre-U1 students were appointed to the Student Council, while 84 students from Secondary One to Pre-U 1 were appointed as prefects.

The event also saw Awg Abdul Azim bin Hj Brahim from Pre-U1 H6 being appointed as the head for the Student Council, while Awg Muhd Khirul Hazwan bin Jaton from Pre-U1 S1 was appointed as the head of the Prefect Board.
