Crown Prince Attends Royal Banquet In Fujairah

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Tuesday night consented to attend a banquet hosted by His Highness Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed al Sharqi, Chairn}an of the Department of Industry and Economy of Fujairah of the United Arab Emirates.

The banquet - which was held in conjunction with His Royal Highness's visit to Fujairah - took place at the Madhab Palace, RTB reported.

His Royal Highness was greeted on arrival by His Highness Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed al Sharqi.

Also attending the function were family members of the Ruler of Fujairah and senior officials.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by Prince Abdul Qawi.

While in Fujairah, the Crown Prince will be competing at the 2008 World 8 Ball Championship to be held from tomorrow until April 25.

The championship is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Saif Al-Shargi, the deputy ruler of Fujairah, and supported by His Highness Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed al Sharqi. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
