Brunei Invited To Asean Leaders

Begawan - Brunei Darussalam has been invited to join the
Asean Young Leaders Training Programme from July 6 to Sept 9, 2008.
It will be held at the Guangxi
International Youth Exchange Institute in Guangxi Zhuang, China. It
is organised by the All-China Youth Federation.
The Department of Youth and Sports,
Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, in a press release yesterday,
said the programme aims to strengthen ties between China and Asean
countries in introducing friendship and understanding among the
youth.
In two months, participants will be
able to understand Chinese politics, economy, culture, science
technology and education through talks, visits, exchange of culture
and so forth.
The organiser will bond the air
ticket, accommodation expenses and living allowance of RMB 600 a
month and learning expenses while in China throughout the programme.
Open to government officers and
staff, private sector, associations or youth associations and
jobless individuals between 25 and 40 years, citizens and permanent
residents of Brunei Darussalam, who must have a good health record
and able to write, listen, communicate and read English well.
Forms are available at third floor
of the Department of Youth and Sports, MCYS Building and must be
completed and returned not later than April 30, 2008 at 4.30pm. For
