Bandar Seri Begawan - A tenpin bowling championship held in conjunction with the Civil Service Day started on Monday and the finals and prize presentation will be held on April 20 at Utama Bowl.

In category E women singles, Dk Maswarty binti Pg Hj Sulaiman with 1,017 pinfalls from the Defence Ministry was first followed by Hjh Janah binti Hj Sulaiman (974 pinfalls - Ministry of Development) and Hjh Kamariah binti Hj Md Zaini (969 pinfalls - Ministry of Development).

The meet was organised by the Civil Service Department and coordinated by the Petroleum Unit Department.

Six categories will be contested - category E (women singles), category F (men singles), category D (women team), category B (group division 3, 4 & 5), category C (men team) and category A (VIP team).
