Lim Ting Hui Golf Tournament winners.

Dato Hj Sheikh Adnan and Hj Ahmad Hj Zainal were the overall gross and nett winners respectively in the Lim Ting Hui Golf Tournament at RBA Golf Club yesterday.

Dato Hj Sheikh Adnan carded a gross score of 76 to claim the title while Col (Rtd) Hj Aziz came in second place.

Hj Ahmad returned a nett score of 66 to beat other challengers to claim the nett title.

Pg Hj Johari Pg Hj Daud was the winner in the Division A nett category, followed by Dato Hj Idris Belaman, Paul Yong and Hj Sabri Hj Naweh.

Simon D Gelan was the winner of Division B nett category pushing Oi Hoon Ai to second place. Hj Md Said Hj Salleh and Hj Bagol Hj Momin were in third and fourth places respectively.

Solomon Soo bagged the Division C nett category with 74 nett with Pg Dato Hj Mustapha in second place.

Paul Yong won himself the novelty prize in nearest to pin in hole number 2, Hj Bagol won nearest to pin in hole number 5, Hj Jamil Hj Tuah won nearest to pin in hole number 12, Dato Hj Yaakub Hj Ahmad won in nearest to pin in hole number 14 and Hj Ghariff won nearest to pin in hole number 16.

Sixty-five golfers, the highest so far, took part in the monthly event organised by Brunei Darussalam Association of Senior Golfers.

Present to give away the prizes to the winners was fellow member Lim Ting Hui. Also present was Pg Dato Hj Abidin, Chairman of BDASG.

The next monthly event - Chairman's Trophy - will be held on May 12.
