Cruise Ship Launched On Brunei River

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Tenaga Travel Agency (B) Sdn Bhd and Tandoor. Com held a soft launch for the Tandor.Com lunch or dinner cruise on the Brunei River yesterday. The liner is Tanjung Berkarang.

Present as the guest of honour was the Tutong District Officer, Yang Mulia Awg Hj Jamain bin Momin and spouse. Also present was the Managing Director of Tenaga Tours Agency, Awg Hi Thani bin Hj Abd Hamid, as well as several guests and families.

The cruise is aimed at promoting the Kenali Negara Kitani concept by encouraging local tourism and the local economy; reintroducing another tourist friendly package and activities, as well as promoting the existing local attractions in a commercial and professional manner.

The vessel took the passengers on an exciting cruise around the Kampong Ayer towards the palace and the historic Pulau Cermin. The cruise lasted for two and a half hours. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
