VW Launches 3 Models

Bandar Seri Begawan - Maju Motors Sdn Bhd, main distributor of Volkswagen in Brunei Darussalam, yesterday launched three new members of the Volkswagen family at its showroom.

Longer and larger, the new VW Passat 1.8 Turbo and the Passat 3.2 V6 4Motion look executive and sporty, while the Passat Variant-2.0 Turbo is the latest of VW's sportwagon.

Handling each of the three new modals is exceptionally comfortable for big cars. And there are no compromises in term of speed and safety.

The main attraction at the showroom is the Passat Variant 2.0 Turbo equipped with 2.0 turbo FSI (200bhp) 4 cylinder petrol engine.

The maximum output stands at 147 (200)/5100 and the - maximum torque is at 280/18005000.

The safety features contain curtain and front airbag system. for driver and passengers including side airbags.

The keyless locking and starting system enables driver to start the car with a press and drive function.

The only unit available in Brunei Darussalam is in the showroom.

Power from the VW Passat 1.8 Turbo comes from the 1790 Turbo, the maximum output for the sedan is 118/5000 while maximum torque is 250/1,500.

The safety features include driver's and front passenger's airbag with passenger's airbag deactivation switch.

There also curtain airbags for the front and rear passengers.

Packing the biggest punch of the three is Passat 3.2 V6 4Motion. It's the new four wheel drive generation for Passat saloon and sedan.

4MOTION, the four-wheel drive system from Volkswagen, offers enhanced active safety and driving pleasure.
