BMW Roadshow Draws Crowds To Mall

Bandar Seri Begawan - QAF Auto Sdn Bhd yesterday kicked off the first day of its roadshow at the Mall with a bang, where it unveiled BMW's latest 5 series as well as the newest diesel-powered X3, which found a new home almost immediately after the show started.

"Four cars are on display... the 320, the new 520, the X3 2.0d and the 325 cabriolet," said a QAF Auto spokesperson yesterday.

The three-day roadshow that is scehduled to go on until Sunday drew crowds that were all eager to see the latest BMW on display.

"For the 520 and the X3 diesel, those two we brought in for the first time. For these next three days, we're doing a special promotion where we are selling them at $79,800, down from $83, 800," said the QAF spokesperson.

"We managed to sell the X3 almost immediately. We started at about 10am, and this customer came at noon and decided to buy it," she said.

The last car QAF sold at its last roadshow was the 5 series, she said.

"I guess the 320 Cabriolet will be the most interesting to everybody, but this is the first time we're bringing in this model of the 520 and the X3 diesel. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
