Brunei Bikers In Phuket For Bike

Begawan - Brunei Darussalam Bikers, represented by the Brunei
Motorcycle Association (PEMODA), has arrived in Phuket, Thailand, to
participate in the world-renowned `Phuket Bike Week', held every
April.
After travelling for 20 hours from
Bangkok to Phuket, a distance of 800km, Brunei participants were
taking part, for the first time, in the 14th Annual Phuket Bike
week.
Over 5,000 bikers have registered
for. the event, a show of increasing number of participations every
year.
Bikers clubs from Indonesia;
Malaysia, Singapore, America, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and other
European and Asian nations were-among the participants in this
year's Phuket Bike week.
Ayesah Abdullah, one of the
organising committee members for this year's event, welcomed bikers
from Brunei, and said, "This is the first time Brunei is
participated in one of the biggest bike events in Asia."
"We've travelled far to participate
in this world event. We thank those who had supported us in making
this a reality where we can actively promote Brunei Darussalam to
the rest of the world biking community," said Brunei contingent
leader, Hj Abu Bakar Hj Md Arshad.
During their stay in Phuket, PEMODA
