TAP Holds Financial Planning Road Show For RBA Officers, Staff

Bandar Seri Begawan - In its efforts to help the community to understand finance and their own financial responsibility, Tabung Amanah Pekerja (TAP) yesterday held a financial planning road show for officers and staff of Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) at Dewan Muhibbah, Royal Brunei Recreational Club (RBRC).

The road show was aimed at increasing the awareness on the importance of financial planning to the public, particularly their own finance without depending on others. T he financial planning briefing was delivered by MuhammadYazidbinYakub from Standard Chartered Brunei and also a special speaker from Singapore, Jocelyn Lo, who delivered a briefing in a different perspective dealing with "A Healthier Investment Asset Allocation".

A third speaker, Ustaz Hj Muhd Shukri bin Hj Ahmad, Head of Administration, Zakat Collection and Distribution Unit, delivered a talk on zakat and its importance.

Also present during the road show was Kamal Ariffm bin Dato Hj Abd Rahman, Senior Vice President, Engineering Department of RBA along with 100 officers and staff. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
