Art Competition In Conjunction With His Majesty's 62nd Birthday

Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 62nd birthday, the Museum Depaitinent is currently hosting an art competition to showcase the work of aspiring local artistes.

With the theme "Moving towards Vision 2035", which entails an educated generation living in a dynamic economy, the competition hopes to reflect the people's love for the monarch and to hone local artistic skills.

Divided into two categories, the first category is open to all Bruneians and permanent residents while the second category is open to students of secondary and vocational schools. Prizes range between B$4000 and a consolation prize of B$100, based on the category. The competition, which commenced last Monday, will end on June 7.
