SMPIHM Serasa Holds 2-In-1 Event

Bandar Seri Begawan - PIHM Serasa Secondary School in Muara recently held a two-in-one event to commemorate Maulud Nabi and an appointment ceremony for new perfects at its multipurpose hall.

The function began with the recitation of Surah al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Norazali bin Hj Safar followed by a religious talk from Cikgu Haji Said bin Hj Salleh, Deputy Principal and performances of Tausyeh and Dzikir Marhabah from the students.

Forty-one students were appointed as the new prefects by the school principal, Miss Lim Siew King. Cikgu Haji Said then appointed head and assistant head of every class.

The newly appointed prefects then took their oaths led by this year's Head Prefect, Zulbashirul Habri bin Zulkipli. The head prefect for girls was Dyg Khairul Hamizah bte Hamdan. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
