Reception On Board Royal Thai Navy

Begawan - A reception was held on board the Royal Thai Navy
ship, H.M.T.S Naresuan, which docked at Muara Port last night.
Present as the chief guest was
Pehin Datz Lailaraj a Major General Dato Paduka Seri Hj Awang Halbi
bin Hj Md Yussof, the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
Around 270 Thai cadets are
currently in the country for training. According to Rear Admiral
Prasan Sukkaset, the Royal Thai Navy brought around 400 cadets for a
similar visit to the Sultanate four years ago.
There were also deMonstrations on
various disciplines of Thai martial arts including Muay Thai (kick
boxing) and sword fighting.
The H.M.T.S Naresuan will be open
to the public this Friday from 10am to 3pm.
Foreign dignitaries including Thai
Ambassador Phithak Phrombubpha were among those who attended the
