Minister Meets Senior Chinese Official

Bandar Seri Begawan - Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, yesterday met with Guo Shengkun, Secretary of the CPC Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guangxi Autonomous Region.

During the meeting, they discussed Brunei's participation in the 51h China Asean Exposition in Nanning and on strengthening trade and investment between Brunei Darussalam and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Guo Shengkun is in the country for three days and will also be hosting a Guangxi Promotion Conference as well as meetings with senior officials from several government departments. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
