SRDB Celebrates World Health Day

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sekolah Rendah Dato Basir Brunei II at Lambak Kanan celebrated World Health Day and the opening ceremony of its Science Subject Month at its school premises recently.

The event started off with the reciting of doa and school's oath, followed by the singing of the national anthem.

The ceremony was officiated by a senior teacher, Cikgu Majidah Hj Abd Rahman, on behalf of the school's principal. It then kicked off with a mass aerobic exercise headed by Cikgu Ak Asmady Pg Sahdon.

In conjunction with the World Health Day celebration, all teachers, staff and upper primary pupils participated in the school run.

First 10 winners in the boys and girls category and first four winners in the. teachers' category were awarded with prizes at the end of the event. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
