20 Teams Advance To B-@ctive 3rd Phase

Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty teams yesterday advanced to the third phase of B-@active competition after a two-day second round, which saw 35 teams present their ideas for projects under B-@active.

The 20 teams are: Belia Al-Amin, Belia Berilmu, Sinar Mentari, Assyabul Imtiaaz, Adai-Adai, Sentinent, 4WD Tutong, SMPAPHRSB Lumut, Sepakat, Islamic Prince Princess, Puteri-Puteri PencintaAlam Sekitar, 7isme, Bright Future Youth, Symbiotic Ranger Team, Sinar Mentari Junior, De Psy9s, Dream Team, Hacks, KKBT Xtremz, and Belia Proaktif 2.

In the third phase, the teams will have to implement the projects they had presented in the previous round within three months. Each team will be provided with a budget of $500, and the evaluation for the project will include the effectiveness of the project in reaching its objectives.

The winning team will receive $1,500 in prize money, while first and second runners-up, $1,000 and $750 respectively.

The objective of the competition is to provide the youth with an opportunity to plan and implement a systematic project while helping them gain valuable experiences in management. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
