Takraw tourney

The Physical Education of the Co-curriculum Department, Ministry of Education held a Sepak Takraw Championship for government and private schools and colleges of Zone II Brunei-Muara district hosted by PIHM Serasa Secondary School yesterday.

The championship was held at the Menglait Sports Complex and was divided into three categories - Category B (15-years-old and below), Category C (16-18) and Category D.

In Category B semi-final, Rimba Secondary School beat PIHM Serasa Secondary School 21-14, 21-18 and PDSM Mentiri Secondary School defeated Masin Secondary School 21-19, 21-15.

In Category C semifinals, PIHM Serasa Secondary School qualified for the final after their opponent, SM Sayyidina Hassan withdrew and Masin Secondary School beat PDSM Mentiri Secondary School 21-11, 22-20, 17-15.

Masin Secondary School will meet PIHM Serasa Secondary School in the Category D final today.
