Afiq wins bronze in World Children's Picture contest

A nine-year old pupil from Chung Ching Middle School in Seria, Muhamad Afiq bin Hj Ibrahim, made his school proud when he received accolades in the 15th World Children's Picture Contest.

The contest was organised by IE-NO-HIKARI Association, the Japanese national agricultural cooperative organisation in charge of publication and a member of both the ICA (International Co-operative Alliance) and the IRU (International Raiffeisen Union). The association promotes the international exchange of goodwill and understanding.

Muhamad Afiq was the only one who won bronze medal in Brunei Darussalam with his art piece "Hard Working".

The contest received 51,320 pieces of artwork from students of 67 different countries with Brunei submitting a total of 38 entries.
