By Norizan Murshid

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two local craftswomen - Dayang Lena Haji Abd Samad and Dayang Hajah Siti Khatijah Ibrahim - are currently in Kuala Lumpur for the 2008 Malaysian National Craft Day.

Themed "Kraf Ke Persada Dunia", the sixth crafts exhibition, which will run from March 27 to April 7, in Jalan Conlay houses hundreds of entrepreneurs from Malaysia and nine other countries with their products.

The event was recently launched by Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Hj Abmad Badawi at the Amphitheatre of Bangunan Seri Utama, Kraftangan Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur.

The National Craft Day, which is jointly organised by the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry and Kraftangan Malaysia, is open to the public from 10am to 10pm. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
