Better Security At Brunei Shell Refinery

Kuala Belait - The Brunei Shell Refinery is expected to have better security in its Seria plant as it opened a new security building yesterday.

"Ensuring the security of the plant and its workers, should be a joint responsibility, which the refinery is more than willing to undertake together with ; the support from the Royal Brunei Police Force," Hj Yahya Hj Mohammad, the manager of the Brunei Shell Refinery in Seria, said during his speech at the official opening ceremony of the refinery's new guardhouse.

Incidents in the past, which included people trespassing the premises of the refinery, have sparked the need for the construction of the new security building.  -- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
