Hua Ho Bunut Wins Red Bull Display Contest

Bandar Seri Begawan - Hua Ho Department Store Bunut Branch recently won $1,500 in prize money in the Red Bull Display Contest open to supermarkets across the country.

Second place went to Hua Ho Dept Store (Tutong), winning $1,000, and third place to Sim Kim Huat (Sengkurong), collecting $500.

The contest, organised by Kingston Beverage and Creamery Sdn Bhd (Kingston), was participated by some 35 outlets.

The display contest was divided into two categories. Category A was open to supermarkets, while Category B was open to mini markets and small outlets.

Yesterday, a prize presentation ceremony was held at Millennium Restaurant in Beribi, Gadong.

On hand to present the prizes to winners was Malcolm Lim, Kingston's Managing Director.

Pariticipating outlets were judged on creativity of the display, focused on the theme 'Energise Yourself With Red Bull' and the usage of 'Point-of-Sale materials' (POSM).

Meanwhile, five consolation winners - Utama Grand Superstore, Soon Lee Mega Mart (Mentiri), Pertama Dept Sttore, First Emporium (Branch) and Hua Ho Dept Store (Manggis) - each collected $200. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
