SM Sayyidina Hasan Holds Dzikir Contest

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sayyidina Hasan Secondary School organised a Dzikir Syarafil Anam Inal competition for the Form Four students in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration at the school hall yesterday.

Chairing the event was the Principal of the school, CikguHjh Suriani binti Hj Noor Hashim.

Nur'ain group with their zikir titled “Bisyahrin” emerged as winners with a score of 87 per cent followed by Bi Khair group with their zikir titled Al-Hamd with a score of 82 per cent and Nur iman Group with a score of 80.3 per cent.

The event began with the recital of the Surah al-Fatihah followed by welcoming remarks from the principal who reminded the students on the teachings of Islam and not to question on things which are deemed as haram by Islam.

Later, the competition saw five teams competing against one another and the ceremony ended with prize presentations to the winners by the principal. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
