SMARTER Shop Gear Up For Official Opening

Bandar Seri Begawan - The SMARTER Centre in Sengkurong is preparing to officially open its second-hand shop on April 2.

The shop, located on the ground floor of the Wisma Jaya in the capital, will sell items that have been donated by merchants and individuals at low prices. Proceeds from the shop will be used to fund the centre.

The shop also features recycled materials, as well as new or unused products. Items include clothing, household and decorative items.

Parents, volunteers and staff of the SMARTER Centre will run the shop.

Members of the public can donate items to the centre or shop tomorrow. The shop will be open from 'lam to 8pm. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
