Teachers Get Lessons In Teaching
Bandar Seri

last Thursday held a workshop for teachers who are new to teaching
the `O' Level English language examination classes this year.
It was the second of two workshops,
the first of which was held earlier on Tuesday for Lower Secondary
Examination (PMB) teachers.
The workshops are a part of Belta's
ongoing efforts to support the Ministry of Education's vision of
improving the results of English language examinations, and also to
contribute to the professional development of teachers and the
quality of English language teaching in the country.
On both days, teachers from almost
30 schools_ from all four districts, Centre for British Teachers
officers and inspectors from the Inspectorate Department made up the
50-odd participants that filled up the Lecture Theatre of Maktab
Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan to listen to some very experienced
English language teachers who have taught examination classes for a
considerable number of years, and most of whom were Belta members.
On Tuesday, Hjh Lena Md Hassan, the
Head of the English Language Department at the Berakas Secondary
School shared with the participants some advice for teaching PMB
