Fulbright chance to Study In US

Bandar Seri Begawan - Local graduates have a chance to further their studies in the United States following the US Embassy in Brunei Darussalam's announcement of the 2007-2008 annual competition for Fulbright grants for Bruneians to study in the US.

Preliminary application forms for the Fulbright Graduate Studies Programme are available for download at http://brunei.usembassy.gov.

The Fulbright Programme is a programme of academic exchange for the promotion of global understanding. The Scholarship Awards for the Fulbright Graduate Study Programme is offered to Bruneian citizens and permanent, residents to provide them an opportunity to pursue a degree in the United States.

This award is for advanced students seeking to study for a Master's Degree. The subject of study will be of the applicant's choosing. Successful candidates are most likely to be those with a clearly focused programme, of study and a well-defined career track with at least two to three years' professional experience. The award is for one to two years of study and will commence in August 2007.
