Arts & Handicraft Training Centre welcomes wife of Chinese president

Madame Liu Yongqing - who is currently on an official state visit to Brunei Darussalam - yesterday paid a visit to the Arts and Handicraft Training Centre.

On hand to greet the wife of President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China, on her arrival were Head of the Arts and Handicraft Training Centre Cikgu Zainal Arshad bin Haji Abd Rahman, Director of Museums Awang Haji Metassim bin Haji Jibah and Deputy Director of Museums Awang Bantong bin Antaran.

Cikgu Zainal Arshad bin Haji Abd Rahman led Madam Liu Yongqing on a tour of the facilities at the Arts and Handicraft Training Centre.

Madam Liu Yongqing later toured the trade exhibition, songkok-making section as well as the weaving section.

Prior to her departure, Madam Liu Yongqing signed the visitor's book.
