By Rosli Abidin Yahya

Zam Zam Cola being made. The Iranian soft drink is coming to Brunei
very soon.
Zam
Zam Cola, an Iranian-manufactured soft drink will be available in
local supermarkets and groceries by this month. Its Malaysian
distributor, Alfajr (M) Sdn Bhd, stated in a statement that apart from
Brunei Darussalam, the soft drink would penetrate other markets in
Southeast Asia as well.
The soft drink was to have entered
the local market some time back, but talks with a local distributor,
unfortunately, broke down.
Zam
Zam Cola will be imported direct from Iran and sold in 325ml cans and
300ml plastic packs.
The beverage took Malaysia by storm
where within six months of its entry there, almost half a million
bottles of the drink were sold. Alfajr said sales in Malaysia were
very encouraging because of the cola's "quality and taste."
"The drink which has also received
international certifications such as the ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 has
further convinced distributors and consumers," said the distributor.
