Special Screening For Sars Suspects In All Brunei Hospitals

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei's health authorities have set up dedicated Sars screening centres at all the main hospitals in each of the four districts in its effort to prevent an outbreak of the deadly epidemic.

Dr. Haji Zulaidi, a member of the RIPAS Hospital Management Committee on Sars, explained that the main purpose for the dedicated screening centres, built with the recommendations and specifications of the World Health Organisation, was to segregate the people coming in specifically for Sars screening from the rest of the general public at the earliest possible moment. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
