A little bit of sunshine is always
good for everyone to get more connected with the outside world. On
Tuesday afternoon, Janey Gilkey, Supervisor of KACA Playgroup led a
group of around 50 children from KACA Playgroup along with their
parents to visit the Empire Hotel & Country Club.
The Human Resources Manager, Ms Tan
Lee Ngee and two members of staff from the HR Department, Hjh Safiya
and Noorlilawati welcomed the group upon their arrival at the Empire
Lobby.
This was the second visit to the
hotel by the KACA group. This time, however, the visit included
playgroups form RIPAS Hospital and Sengkurong, according to Janey
Gilkey.
Visits such as these are aimed at
stimulating the children with outdoor activities to expose the special
children to the outside world and give them a feel of the hotel
environment as well as encouraging them to talk and improve their
speech.
The first stop made was to the fish
pond located just outside the Empire retail shop area, where the
excited children had the chance to feed the fish by themselves,
accompanied by their parents.
Also included in the tour was a stop
at the Pantai Kids Club, where the delighted children played with all
the toys available at the club. This was later followed by a tour of
the Pantai areas and facilities.
