Educational talk on road safety

Spokespersons deliver the talk
Awang Semaun Secondary School
yesterday held an educational talk on road safety at their school
premises in the capital. Most of the students attending the talk were
Form 4 and Form 5 students. The theme of the talk was "Road
Safety begins from ourselves".
The objective of the programme was to
provide understanding about the functions and aims of the Road Safety
Council, and to create awareness about the laws and regulations
concerning road safety.
Another objective was to provide
knowledge on the "3 E Concept" used to help minimise road
accidents in the country.
The talk also provided the
opportunity for the teachers and students to interact with one
another.
Spokespersons for the talk were Awg
Baha bin Awg Jamahat from the Road Safety Council, Awg Hj Sahminan bin
Hj Tengah from the Land Transport Department, and Inspector Salleh bin
Harun from the Royal Brunei Police Force.
