Title Holders Urged To Be Experts On Royal Customs

Bandar Seri Begawan - People, who were bestowed with a title, must realise that the public sees them as experts on Brunei Royal Custom.

This is a reality that no one can deny, whatever the reasons are.

Assistant Chief of Adat Istiadat Pengiran Dato Haji Ahmad said this at the opening of a workshop on Brunei Royal Customs for the people who were bestowed with a title.

Pengiran Dato Haji Ahmad said that in the eyes of the public, the behaviour of those conferred with a title will reflect the tradition.

To avoid negative perception among the public, they have to act accordingly and should learn more on the royal customs.

They should also hold discussions among themselves to share the knowledge on Brunei Royal Customs.

Sixty-five participants attended the four-day workshop. They were those who had been bestowed with a title comprising of imams, government officials, penghulus and ketua kampongs.
