JIS holds International Showcase
concert

One of the cultural performances
An International Showcase concert
featuring different cultures was held at Jerudong International School
with the aim of fostering a greater understanding and tolerance among
the students of different nationalities. Attending as the Chief Guest
at the event was the Director of JIS Secondary School, Mr Bruce Ferres.
During the concert, all the students
were dressed in international costumes and of their favourite
characters.
Meanwhile, the primary students also
held a parade while the parents were entertained with various cultural
performances like Iban, Chinese, African, Irish and Indian dances as
well as choirs. The event also featured international food fair for
students whereby parents sponsored the various delicacies from their
respective countries.
At the food court, the guests were
also entertained with Latin dancing and band performance presented by
the students. St Margaret's School in Seria and Berakas International
School were invited to perform in the concert.
