Ministers Meet In Kuala Lumpur To Fight Sars

Kuala Lumpur - Health Ministers from Asean plus 3 countries met in Kuala Lumpur to seek effective ways to arrest the spread of Sars.

Brunei is represented by the Minister of Health Pehin Dato Awang Haji Abu' Bakar Bin Haji Apong.

China is represented by its Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Huang Jie Su, Japan is by its Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, Chikara Sakaguchi.

Also present the World Health Organisation, WHO'S Regional Director for West Pacific, Doctor Shigeru Omi.

Malaysian Minister of Health Mr. Chua Jui Meng, addressing the meeting said it was important that the delegates review and shared problems and to arrive at the best possible solution. Courtesy of Radio television Brunei
