20 win colouring contest

Some 79 children participated a drawing contest organised by the Bakti Dewa School yesterday morning at the school hall in Sungai Akar Branch. The principal, Mrs Cathy Layon, said the drawing contest aims to develop the children's talents in sketching different images, explore skills and draw masterpieces.

Highlighting the event were two huge mascots from Jollibee, which entertained the kids and gave out the goodies to all participants.

Twenty winners were selected from the upper and lower grades.

Mohd Syazwi was chosen as having the best drawing, Dk Khalillah Ajeerah, second, and Muhd Akwa, third.

Meanwhile, among the students representing the Upper Primary grades, Ahmad Sajjad won first place, second was Ali Asri and Mohd Khalil Ikwan won third place.

Pg Anak Hafeezah Syukrina, the Executive Director of the school, handed the prizes to the 20 winners.
