Pizza Hut goes Italian

The Roma Pizza, one of the five flavours from Pizza Hut Brunei's new
Italian Classic range of pizzas
It's back to where it all began when
Pizza Hut introduced its new range of Italian Classic Pizza. The
Italian Classic Pizza is a "very affordable and lighter option to
(the) pan and stuffed crust pizza," said a press release from the
Brunei franchise holder Olive Tree Corporation Sdn Bhd. Each one of
the five "new delicious and mouth-watering toppings" is made
of "premium ingredients and yet priced at a shockingly low
price" of $13.90 for a large-sized pizza.
"We have five types of new
toppings which not only uniquely complement the new Italian Classic
Crust but also cater to every pizza lover - Milan and Roma for meat
lovers; Polo for chicken lovers; Vera for veggie lovers; and Cheezo
for cheese lovers," said Christine Carson, the marketing manager
for Olive Tree.
The Italian Classic Pizza is a
home-style Italian pizza with a "delicious bread crust, stretched
and pressed by hand and baked to perfection - not too thick and not
too thin - that even the Italians love to call it their own,"
Carson added.
The company's operations manager
Salim put it very succinctly: "We didn't invent it; we just
perfected it."
