Body temperature checks on passenger
To prevent the spread of the Severe
Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), incoming passengers and Royal
Brunei Airlines cabin crew have their body temperatures checked at the
Brunei International Airport. A health officer said body temperature
checks through the ears are being carried-out until the last flight at
night.
Those who already have their body
temperature checked are issued with a note to be surrendered to the
immigration staff prior to the chopping of their passports.
Customs officers at the arrival hall
are now seen wearing masks. So too are health staff who check incoming
passengers' temperature. The Bulletin also found out some incoming
passengers are wearing masks. Foreigners who welcomed their families
and friends at the arrival hall were also seen wearing masks.
