School denies allegations

Referring to the news items 'Teachers suffer as pay held back' and 'Teachers in a dilemma over delay in salary' published in the Borneo Bulletin of April 19 and 23 respectively, the management of the school concerned has denied the allegations made by some of the teachers. The School Management in its statement said that the allegations were totally untrue. "In fact the teachers were paid in advance on April 20 instead of April 30, 2003 for the month of April," the statement added.
