Philippines Army Chief Drops By

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Commanding General of the Philippine Army, Lt Gen Gregorio Camiling Jr yesterday paid a courtesy call to (Ret) Maj Gen Pengiran Haji Ibnub Ba'asith, Deputy Minister, Defence Ministry at the Bolkiah Garrison.

Present at the meeting was the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Commander Pehin Maj Gen Awang Haji Halbi.

Lt Gen Camiling Jr also paid a courtesy call on the RBAF Commander.

Soon after arrival, Lt General Camiling Jr visited the Royal Brunei Land Forces Headquarters at Berakas Garrison.

The visit is to foster the deep understanding and to enhance the very warm and cordial defence relationship between Brunei and Philippines, which has been established for a long time.

The Philippine Commanding General is in the sultanate for a two-day official visit.
