Brunei's top local bands to perform at Empire Theatre

Lovers of good music and supporters of local talent will be in for a treat this Saturday with a special performance by two of Brunei's top local bands at The Empire Theatre from 8pm to 12 midnight. Organised by IMEX Marketing Services, tickets are priced at B$25 per person and are available at the ticket counter at the Main Lobby of The Empire Hotel and Country Club.

The two bands, The Grudge and X Z BeatZ, are 100 per cent local comprising talented individuals who will definitely impress the audience with their wide repertoire of music and dynamic vocals.

The Grudge was formed in 1997 by musicians with vast and varying experiences having the same passion for music. It includes Sainul (Vocals), Aling (Vocals), Jazz (First Lead Guitar), Ardy (Second Lead Guitar), Fyan (Bass Guitar and Azeez (Drums). Their main priority is to ensure that their audience are well entertained and enjoy their music.

X Z BeatZ, a power packed versatile 8-piece band full of energy and fire guarantees to kick up a storm wherever they perform.

With the ability to play a wide repertoire of music ranging from ballads, rock, funk, reggae, pop, hip hop, rock and roll, Latin and more, X Z BeatZ will leave the audience asking for more.

With 5 experienced musicians providing the rhythm and 3 talented singers in the front-line, this band was formed in 2001 and is based in Kuala Belait.

Performing together for the first time in the state-of-the-art Empire Theatre with an excellent sound system, the show promises to be a memorable one.

Doors will be opened from 7pm onwards and a snack bar will be available throughout.
