Suspected thief remanded in Bandar

A 29-year-old suspect of a theft case was further remanded at the BSB Central Police Station pending an application made by DPP Dk Hana Molina for investigations to be completed on the matter in a week's time, until the next mention date on April 28. Mohammad Ashri Hj Pungut, was read the charge of having committed theft of jewelleries consisting of 11 gold bracelets, 3 gold necklaces, 5 gold rings, 1 pair of gold scarf pins, 2 gold pins, 2 pairs of gold earrings, a gold earring and a gold locket with blue stones belonging to Sarina Ismail in a building used as a human dwelling at No.53 C, Flat EF36, room no.3, Beribi Flat last weekend.

No plea was taken by the court yesterday.
