Professor Hassan said the objective of the summit is to come up with a definitive output on how to address different issues and help the Philippine government in nation building and reconciliation, more particularly in the search of peace in Mindanao.

"We realise the best way to attain our economic goals is to improve the well-being of the Bangsamoro people working within the government frame.

"This is the main idea behind the national Muslim leaders' forum where the basis of unity has been laid down," he said.

The two-day summit is set to be held in Manila Midtown Hotel in Ermita and the Governor of Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Parouk Hussein is expected to attend the event.
