The National Air Scouts Movement
recently achieved another milestone with the formation of a second air
scouts troop. This air scouts troop from Yayasan Hassanal Bolkiah
School is the second to be formed in the Sultanate, for non-government
schools.
Known as 'Alai Udara', the new troop
will be led by Air Scouts leader Skipper Cikgu Awang Mohammad Dani bin
Haji Awang Jailani, with the help of two leaders from the Air Scouts
Movement.
Skipper Awang Abdul Jalil Dato Haji
Awang Marsal - founder of the Air Scouts Movement - hopes that through
air scouting activities, pupils would be successful in both their
academic endeavour and maintaining their active role in the Air
Scouting Activities.
He further added that by
participating in such activities, pupils would surely experience the
different sides of life that in turn would help them fully develop
their character and talent through physical, mental, social and
spiritual up bringing.
There are currently more than sixty
members in the newly formed troop.
