Tenders open to run school buses

Tenders are now open for companies and cooperative societies in the country to run school buses for the Ministry of Education to transport school and college students in the Brunei-Muara and Tutong Districts, RTB reported. The Motor Transport Licensing Board in its statement said, it is issuing permit or franchise for school bus services for both districts.

There are two types of buses required for this service - 22-seater and 14-seater types. Companies and cooperatives that wish to apply for the permit need to fulfill the conditions set out by the Motor Transport Licensing Board. Applications should reach the licensing board's headquarters in Kampong Beribi, Gadong by May 12, 2003.
