Ajees makes a night to remember

It was an opportunity many fans of
Ajees could not miss as was evident last Saturday night during a meet-
the-fans session held at the Asma Hotel in Jerudong. The room was also
filled with some DJs from local radio stations as well as other local
artistes, like Tuty. Also making special appearances were Malaysian
artistes, Zul from "2 By 2" and Tomok from "New Boyz."
Guests were both charmed by
performances from Ajees and Tomok, especially a duet from them called
"Kala Cinta Melara."
Ajees who clearly has won many hearts
in Brunei showcased his powerful voice and belted out a few numbers
from his album.
Not only that but attendees were
treated to an exclusive preview of his new music video clip entitled
"Luka Hanya Seketika."
Tomok could have easily been mistaken
for an N'Sync star as he was donning the look and drove the crowd wild
by dancing like the famous American artiste during a brief interlude
of Justin Timberlake's song, 'Like I Love You'. It was an evening of
non-stop fun as DJ Zurin from Kristal FM kept the whole audience
entertained in between song breaks.
Talented local newcomer Tuty, who
will also be releasing an album soon, sang some of her tracks, and
also a duet with Zul.
The group of fans who came in had
earlier either purchased the album by Ajees or won a contest organised
by a few local radio stations. The success of Ajees's album launch
definitely proved the capability of local talents who only need more
recognition, support and promotion to fare well in the music industry
here and maybe even internationally.
