Sinaran Mas gets fire drill exercise

School staff being briefed on the fire extinguisher

An in-house fire drill exercise was organised at Sekolah Sinaran Mas, courtesy of the Fire Service Department. Four officers, lead by DSD Noorzali bin Apong from the Public Relations and Education Unit of Brunei Fire Service, conducted the drill.

"Beside being briefed on the uses and functions of different types of fire extinguishers, we were trained and shown how to handle the situation step by step, in case of fire breaking out," said the Principal, Madam Susie Chai.

This is an annual activity for our pupils and staff. We expect our staff not only to teach well, but be able to cope with procedures in the evacuation of our students and bring them to safety in a calm manner, which is very important in case of any emergency," she further emphasised.
