Another operation entitled 'Semerbak 6' was put in action yesterday with a roadblock held in front of JKR Limau Manis near Jalan Kuala Lurah. It was co-ordinated by 11 members from the Limau Manis Police Station and led by Sergeant Major Hj Bakhri Hj Metussin. 11 officials from the Religious Enforcement Department led by Hj Abd Rahim Hj Jais also joined in the operation.

During the operation, six motorists were compounded for traffic offences like unlawful resizing of license plate, noisy silencers and faulty license plate lights.

Officials from the Religious Enforcement Department also conducted investigations on four Muslim individuals who were allegedly consuming alcohol and were asked to report to the department at an appointed date.

The operation ended at 10.50 pm.
